Off-road adventure through captain's country, coastal viewpoints & Korta Katarina wine tasting

Peljesac Peninsula Buggy Safari Experience

  • Premium Can-Am buggy convoy, daily departures
  • 4 formats: 1 to 4 hours
  • Entrance to the Franciscan Monastery & Museum on every tier
  • Swimming stop, Franco's pizza, and wine tasting on longer tiers

Orebić doesn’t look like a place that once ran half the Adriatic’s merchant trade — but for two centuries, it did. By the 17th century, this small town on the Pelješac peninsula had become one of the key centers of Dubrovnik’s merchant navy. By the 19th century, Orebić’s own captains commanded as many as 90 sailing ships, crewed by over 2,000 sailors and 250 captains. Today, the buggy safari drives you straight through the hills that history came from.

The route across Pelješac

You’ll drive powerful Can-Am buggies along the hills above Orebić, climb to panoramic viewpoints over the channel, and step inside the Franciscan Monastery on St. Elijah’s Hill. Longer routes continue further into Pelješac’s wild interior — down to a swim, a stop at Franko’s Pizzeria in Kućište, and a wine tasting at Korta Katarina on the Premium tour, a Relais & Châteaux winery whose Plavac Mali and Pošip have scored in the 90s from Decanter.

Every program climbs the same hills above Orebić. What changes is how much of Pelješac — and how much of the taste of it — you get.
