The Korcula Buggy Safari is a four-hour off-road journey through the wild, sun-baked heart of Korcula Island — ancient olive groves, terraced vineyards, two Adriatic beaches, and a tasting of local produce at a family winery. Suitable for all ages and experience levels. Departs daily at 10:00 from Korcula Town.

korcula buggy tour adventure

The route winds through Korcula’s ancient olive groves and the island’s interior vineyards, along dusty back roads that cars and tour buses never or rarely reach. As the landscape opens up around you, your guide brings the island’s history to life — stories that have been shaped by Greek colonists, Venetian merchants, and generations of islanders.

The safari includes two beach stops — Vela Przina in Lumbarda, one of the few genuinely sandy beaches on an otherwise rocky island, and Pejton Beach for a rocky beach experience.

Both stops offer time to swim, cool off, and soak in the surroundings before the tour moves on. Along the route, we’ll pass through the ancient vineyards of Lumbarda, home to Grk — a rare white wine grape that up until recent years has grown nowhere else in the world, its roots reaching deep into the island’s sandy soil for over two thousand years.

The final stop is Adria Winery, where the island’s flavours come together in a generous tasting of local wines, liqueurs, jams, honey, and olive oil — all produced within a few kilometres of where you’re sitting. The winery stop lasts approximately 1 hour before returning to Korcula Town.

Total time spent in effective driving – cca 2:30h. A valid driving licence is required to operate a buggy. Passengers do not need one. Minimum driver age is 18. Children are welcome as passengers, and children up to 12 years of age receive a 50% discount.
