Korčula Wine &Sightseeing Tour

  • Tour with open-top panoramic minibus
  • Tasting of 10 wines — Posip, Grk, Plavac mali, and Rukatac
  • Honey, liqueurs, and olive oil tasting
  • Every day at 11:00h

The Korcula Wine & Sightseeing Tour is a four-hour journey through 70% of the Korcula island by open-top panoramic minibus, visiting 3 wineries and tasting 10 locally produced wines. The tour combines the island’s most dramatic viewpoints with its finest wine cellars — a complete introduction to Korcula in a single morning. Departs daily at 11:00 from Korcula Town, returning by 15:00.

The tour opens with a stop at the Korcula town viewpoint, where the medieval old town spreads below, and the Pelješac peninsula stretches across the water. From there, the panoramic cabrio mini bus winds inland through the island’s pine-forested hills and terraced vineyards, passing hamlets that most visitors never see.

The three wineries on this tour each tell a different story. Two are family-owned estates, crafting small-batch wines with deep roots in the island’s soil. The third is a cooperative winery bringing together the harvests of dozens of Korcula growers — a fascinating contrast that shows the full breadth of winemaking on the island.

The tasting covers 10 wines in total, with a focus on Korcula’s indigenous grape varieties — Posip, a golden aromatic white produced across the island; Grk, a rare white grown exclusively in the sandy soils of Lumbarda and found nowhere else in the world; Rukatac, an indigenous red becoming increasingly rare as younger vines replace old plantings; and Plavac Mali, Croatia’s most celebrated indigenous red grape, bold and full-bodied with deep Dalmatian roots.

The final stop includes a tasting of honey, liqueurs, and olive oil produced on the island — all made by the same family producers the tour visits throughout the day.

An English-speaking guide accompanies the tour throughout. In the rare case of poor weather, the panoramic minibus is replaced by an electric Opel minivan — the first electric minivan sold in Croatia.

Free pickup and drop-off are included for guests staying within 5 kilometres of Korcula Town. Please provide your accommodation name and address when booking.

*In case of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, instead of a panoramic minibus, we will use an electric Opel minivan (the first electric minivan sold in Croatia)

The tour also includes honey, liqueurs, and olive oil tasting.

Q: How many wineries does the tour visit? A: The tour visits 3 wineries — two intimate family-owned estates and one cooperative winery representing dozens of Korcula growers. Each offers a completely different atmosphere and approach to winemaking, giving guests a genuine overview of wine production on the island.
