Dubrovnik Republic

  • Guided Tour
  • Wine tasting in Pelješac

Explore the dazzling Dalmatian coast from Korčula to Dubrovnik and learn about the  Dubrovnik Republic that was the symbol of prosperity and progress for a long period of time. It had one of the largest trade fleets on the Mediterranean Sea and, as such, was an unavoidable partner in the European commercial and political affairs of that time. This undefeated town, with a diplomatic web that many of today’s “modern“ states would be proud of, was the centre of one “small“ Republic which preserved its independence and existed for 450 years.

Breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture await you on this tour. As you depart Korčula, set sail along the shimmering azure waters of the Adriatic, enjoying panoramic views of the rugged coastline. Marvel at the untouched islands dotting the horizon, each with its own unique allure.

Panorama’s journey across the Pelješac peninsula takes us to our first stop, Ston, the western fortified border of the Dubrovnik Republic, most known for the series of defensive stone walls.  Arriving in Dubrovnik, prepare to be awe-struck by the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ from a viewpoint high above the old nucleus. With our guide, stroll along the majestic Stradun, the main street of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, where history comes alive through a harmonious fusion of medieval and Renaissance influences.

After the sightseeing lunch is optional in one of the town´s restaurants. On our way back we will stop in one of the wine cellars on Pelješac to taste some of the best area’s wines.

Book your place now and prepare for an experience that will transport you through time and uncover the magic of Croatia’s coastal treasures.
