Our Korcula buggy tour is a four-hour guided off-road safari through the island’s olive groves, Lumbarda’s vineyards and dusty back roads that cars and tour buses rarely reach. You drive a Can-Am buggy (two-seater for couples and friends, four-seater for families), swim at two Adriatic beaches, and finish with a tasting of local indigenous wine, liqueurs, honey, olive oil, cheese and prosciutto at Adria Winery. It leaves daily at 10:00 from the Korkyra INFO office in Korcula Town, Croatia, with free pickup within 5 km. It is the most popular way to see the real Korcula in half a day, and one of the best things to do on the island.

The route winds through Korcula’s ancient olive groves and the island’s interior vineyards, along dusty back roads that cars and tour buses never or rarely reach. As the landscape opens up around you, your guide brings the island’s history to life — stories that have been shaped by Greek colonists, Venetian merchants, and generations of islanders.

The safari includes two beach stops — Vela Pržina in Lumbarda, one of the few genuinely sandy beaches on an otherwise rocky island, and Peyton beach bar, a small, hidden cove with crystal-clear water.

Both stops offer time to swim, cool off, and soak in the surroundings before the tour moves on. Along the route, we’ll pass through the ancient vineyards of Lumbarda, where vines have grown in the island’s sandy soil for centuries.

The final stop is Adria Winery, where the island’s flavours come together in a generous tasting of local indigenous wine, liqueurs, honey, olive oil, cheese, and prosciutto — all produced within a few kilometres of where you’re sitting. The winery stop lasts approximately 1 hour before returning to Korcula Town.
